    Metering

All Capacity Providers must be able to demonstrate how their CMUs are metered by completing a Metering Assessment and providing single line diagrams to show site connection arrangements. All CMU types can defer Metering Assessments at the time of Prequalification. Completion of Metering Assessment determines whether a Metering Test is required. Both, Metering Assessments and Metering Tests need to be completed by the deadlines stated in the Capacity Market Rules. Different deadlines apply to different CMU types.

    Metering Assessment

Completion of Metering Assessment requires answering CMU/site specific metering questions. The answers help the Delivery Body to determine and notify the Capacity Provider whether a Metering Test is required for the site.

    Metering Test

CMUs that need Metering Tests, should request the Settlements Body to carry out a Metering Test. The Settlements Body then issues Metering Test Certificates to the Capacity Providers. These certificates then need to be submitted to the Delivery Body.
