    Capacity Provider Requests

    Depending on the CMU type, a Capacity Provider can make certain requests to the Delivery Body. The Delivery Body then checks the validity of these requests and processes them as per the timescales prescribed in the Capacity Market Rules. These requests include:

    Location Change

    A New Build or DSR CMU can request a change of address for the site location described in its Prequalification Application.

    ​CMU Transfer

    A Capacity Provider can transfer part or all of its Capacity Obligation as long as the recipient is an acceptable Transferee.

    ​​​Security Interest

    A Security Interest can be registered by the Capacity Provider demonstrating a financial interest in a particular CMU. Details of the Security Interests are published on the Capacity Market Register pursuant to Rule 7.5.3.

    ​​​Factual Inaccuracies on Capacity Market Registers

    Capacity Providers can request that the Delivery Body amend or delete any entries on the Capacity Market Register that they consider to be factually inaccurate. Similarly, for any or amended Capacity Agreement Notices that are incorrect, Capacity Providers can request that changes are made.
